As usual, the fireworks are shot from the island by the weir at dusk, roughly 9:30pm. Your best viewpoints are from Hydro Park East or West though the show can be seen across town. | ||||||||||||
Bobby Legault Bike Parade | ||||||||||||
Everybody is welcome to the annual Optimist Bobby Legault Children's Bike Parade! Decorate your bike, blades, wagon, carriage, skateboard or other and join in on the fun in a parade down to the Robert Simpson Park to kick off the Canada Day celebrations. There will be lots of fun and prizes! Registration starts at the parking lot behind the United Church at 10:30am and the parade will start promptly at 11:45am
The Arnprior Optimist Club will be giving away two (2) prizes of $250 towards a new bicycle by random draw from the children’s entries.

Pancake Breakfast | ||||||||||||
The Arnprior Lions are cooking up a pancake breakfast at the Nick Smith Centre Community Hall from 8:00am - 11:00am with music by Katya Beresnikow.
Admission is free though the breakfast is charged.

Walk Through The Decades | ||||||||||||
This walk isn't just a stroll through the streets—it's a fundraiser for the Arnprior & McNab/Braeside archives! Our dedicated volunteers have been working hard to preserve our community's rich history, and now we're inviting you to participate.
During the walk, our knowledgeable volunteer Ed Murphy will guide you through the decade of 1880-1899, sharing stories and insights into life in Arnprior during this pivotal period. From bustling streets to historic landmarks, you'll see it all firsthand!

MAD Duck Race | ||||||||||||
Ever wondered what it would look like if we dropped a loader full of rubber ducks off the the bridge and raced them down the river? Well you're in luck.
The 15th Annual Mad Duck Race presented by the Arnprior Rotary Club will be help at 2:00pm from the bridge of Madawaska Boulevard.

Enjoy Strawberry Shortcake, coffee, tea, and lemonade in the historic Galilee dining room or screened in patio overlooking the Ottawa River. No reservations required, pay at the door, debit available. Entrance on the river side of the main building.
Happening at the Galilee Centre in Arnprior from 1-4pm. $10 admission, children 6 and under are free.
