Council |
The Town of Arnprior is a lower tier municipality within the County of Renfrew. Arnprior has its own Council with 7 Council members who are elected by the entire town every 4 years. One of the 7 Council members is the Mayor and one is the County Councillor who also represents Arnprior on the Renfrew County Council. Council meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month and meetings are open to the public. To contact the Mayor or a member of Town Council, visit our contact page. Garbage and Recycling |
The Town of Arnprior provides weekly garbage and recycling curbside pick up and operates a municipal landfill. The current collection calendar is available in print at Town Hall or online. |

Pets |
The Town's Animal Control By-law requires all dogs and cats to be registered and licensed. Registering your pet demonstrates responsible pet ownership and helps with the identification and safe return of your pet if it is found running at large. Registering your pets can be done online or at Town Hall. |
Property taxes |
The Town collects property taxes for all properties located within the municipality. Taxes fund public services delivered by the Town of Arnprior, the County of Renfrew and the local school boards. Learn more about property tax assessments and payments. |
Recreation and Heritage |
The Town of Arnprior offers so much to do including a recreation complex with two ice surfaces and a pool, two beaches, many sports and recreation programs, year-round events and festivals, wonderful parks, trails and outdoor recreation, an award winning library and Museum. |

Transportation and Parking |
The Town of Arnprior does not have a public transportation system however there are a few transportation options for getting around Town. When it comes to road maintenance, the Public Works Department is responsible for roadside grass cutting, tree maintenance, debris and litter pickup, asphalt patching, street sweeping, grading, dust control, traffic signs, lights and winter maintenance on all Town owned roadways.
