June 8 – Pride |
This theme fits well with June as it is Pride month! To appreciate Pride, this theme invites you to express yourself in the brightest colours and rainbows. The market will be decorated with Pride flags, rainbows, and anything colourful. Guests are encouraged to participate in this Sunday’s theme by wearing Pride pins, apparel, or brining your own forms of Pride expression such as your own Pride flag. Stay tuned for additional Pride themed activities! Absolutely zerodisrespectful, aggressive, or harassing behaviour will be tolerated. Failure to abide by this requirement will result in one’s removal from the market premises. |
June 29 – Red and White / Canada Day |
As Canada Day approaches the following Tuesday, this theme will be catered towards the country we call home and the red and white of the Canadian colours! Products in the market may reflect objects/food of Canadian heritage or simply be the colours of red and/or white. As well, the market will be decorated in red and white décor including Canadian flags. You can participate in this theme by wearing your best red and white attire or anything expressing Canada. |
August - Touch a Truck |
This free, fun, hands-on event allows you to touch, explore and get up close and personal with a variety of different vehicles that are used by the municipality to maintain our roads, parks, facilities and protect the community in case of emergency. |
September 28 – Fall in the Valley |
As the town of Arnprior approaches the fall and fair season, this theme encourages a connection with the roots of the Valley! From flannel to denim, this theme reflects farm activities and fall classics such as pumpkins and the warm colours of orange, yellow and brown. |
