Public Meeting - Draft Plan of Subdivision No. 22-T-22022 (Ida Street South)

Town Council held a public meeting to hear comments on the draft Plan of Subdivision which proposes to develop the property as a residential subdivision with 11 blocks of townhouse units, totaling 55 townhouse dwelling units.

Awarding of Various Project Tenders

Council awarded three tenders which will be completed over the coming months.

Water Filtration Plant and Water Pollution Control Centre Building Condition Assessments

Building Condition Assessments for the Water Filtration Plant (WFP) and Water Pollution Control Centre (WPCC) will be undertaken by J.L. Richards & Associates Limited for a total bid price of $279,279.00 plus HST

PW-2023-05 Replacement of Two Rooftop Units and One Pool Dehumidifier

This project will see the replacement of two rooftop units, one at the Nick Smith Centre and one at the Stanley Tourangeau Police and Fire Services Building, as well as the pool dehumidifier at the Nick Smith Centre. The successful bidder was Black & McDonald Limited for a total bid price of $250,671.00 plus HST.

PW-2023-06 Operation of the Arnprior Waste Disposal Site

Council awarded Tender No. PW-2023-06 for the Operation of the Arnprior Waste Disposal Site for a period of five (5) years to McCrea Excavating Ltd. for $494,100.00 per year (excluding HST) plus annual adjustments for CPI and fuel surcharge. The regular landfill operation duties include staffing to perform site maintenance, hauling of cover material, collection of vouchers, reporting, surveying, signage, landfilling, covering, consolidating garbage and sewage biosolids, road maintenance, fence maintenance, litter cleanup, temporary fencing, ensuring the separation and disposal of blue box recyclables (cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminum), wood, mattresses, electronic waste, leaf and yard waste, metal, tires, and white goods and maintenance of good public relations.
