Clothing Donation Bin/Drop Box

This licence applies to clothing donation bins, which include any receptacle used, or intended to be used, in whole or in part, for the collection of clothing donated by the public.

Old Gold &/or Precious Metal Dealer

This licence applies to all temporary, seasonal, or annual Old Gold and/or Other Precious Metal Dealers, meaning in the business of dealing in Old Gold and/or Other Precious Metals or other similar articles, including but not limited to, buying, selling, or trading such items.

Licence Fee: $200 (annual) or $100 (one week)

Pawnbroker

This licence applies to every person who carries on the business of a pawnbroker, namely carries on the business of taking by way of pawn or pledge any article for the repayment of money lent thereon.

Licence Fee: $250 (annual)

Hawker/Peddler

This licence applies to every Hawker/Peddler, which includes any person who goes from place to place on foot or in a vehicle for the purpose of:

• Selling goods and/or services
• Entering into contracts for the sale of goods and/or services which are either to be delivered on site or at a later date
• Promoting the sale of goods and/or services by encouraging individuals to come to a person's regular place of business

Mobile Canteen/Refreshment Stand/Refreshment Vehicle/Ice Cream Stand/Ice Cream Bicycle

This licence applies to Mobile Canteens, Refreshment Stands, Refreshment Vehicles, and Ice Cream Stands/Bicycles, as defined in By-law No. 6769-17

Licence Fee: $750 (annual) or $62.50 per month

Market Vendor (Arnprior Market)

This licence applies to all Daily and Seasonal Vendors. Please refer to the Market Vendor Business Licence application for further information.

Licence Fees:

  • Full Season (Farmer*): $100.00 (13 market minimum)
  • Half Season (Farmer*): $50.00 (9 markets)
  • Full Season (Non-Farmer): $150.00 (13 market minimum)
  • Half Season (Non Farmer): $100.00 (9 markets)
  • Daily Vender: $15.00 per market
  • Community Booth: No Charge
  • Youth Booth: No Charge

• Generator Use: $12.50 per day/ per plug

* Only farmers can apply to be a seasonal vendor. Please see the following By-Law for the definition of a farmer.

Special Event Licence (Municipal Property)

This licence applies to any person who organizes a Special Event involving multiple Special Event Vendors at one location selling goods, wares, and/or merchandise or offering for sale services, on a temporary basis to the public on municipal property, within the Town of Arnprior.

Licence Fee: $25 per day or part thereof, up to a maximum of $150

Outdoor Sidewalk Patio Cafe

This licence applies to all Outdoor Sidewalk Patio Café's in the Town of Arnprior.

Licence Fee: $100 (full season non-liquor licensed patio) or $3.00 per square foot (full season liquor licensed patio with $500 being the minimum fee and $1000 being the maximum fee)
