Stacy Howard from the Arnprior Agricultural Society provided an overview presentation on the work of their organization, the Valley Agricultural Festival and the importance of farming in the local community.

County Councillor Lynch brought forward a notice of motion to ask the County of Renfrew to designate part of the Algonquin Trail as “Arnprior Station” along the newly seeded lands located on John Street South at Meehan Street.
Councillor Couper brought forward a notice of motion to call upon the Government of Ontario to provide consistent, permanent funding for the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre.
Council approved municipal grant application requests to waive the meeting room rental fees for H2H Inc. (Heart to Heart Arnprior)’s non-faith-based grief support program and to waive gazebo rental fees for the Arnprior Lions Club’s Walk for Dog Guides. Council also adopted a resolution to call on the Government of Ontario to commit to end homelessness in the 2023 Provincial Budget.
