Town Gathers Feedback from Residents and Businesses on Signage

Arnprior Council is looking for your opinion on business signage throughout the Town of Arnprior. The Town’s current Sign By-law is under review with a goal to include more modern sign options for our local businesses, while clearly identify signage specifications and the permit application process.

The Town is asking residents and businesses to take a few minutes to complete a short Sign By-law Review Survey. The Survey seeks opinions on items such as how long a temporary sign should be allowed, should electronic signs be allowed, how much signage should a business have on their building and how businesses find the current sign permit process.

There are two surveys available online, one for businesses and one for the public. Surveys will be open until 4:00 pm on Monday, May 15^th and can be found here . Printed versions are available at Town Hall and the Nick Smith Centre.

Feedback received from the survey will assist in the creation of a new by-law which will be available for review and comment prior to adoption from Council later this year. To stay updated on this project, visit the project page and sign up for notifications.
