Town Completes Expansion to Library Building

The Town of Arnprior, in partnership with the Arnprior Public Library (APL), has completed the construction of the “Scharf Hall Room,” an expansion to the library building, as well as improvements to the outdoor area. The Town is grateful for having received a non-repayable contribution of $368,345 from the Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), to undertake this project.

The new addition and outdoor space allow the APL to increase its capacity for events and programing, create additional meeting room and provide outdoor space for programing and general use along the entrance to the Town’s Madawaska Riverfront pathway.
