The Town of Arnprior congratulates Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on her Platinum Jubilee

The Town of Arnprior is pleased to join the communities in Commonwealth countries throughout the world asked to join in marking the Platinum Jubilee, representing the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II accession to the Throne. 

In participation with the Department of Canadian Heritage’s initiative to illuminate buildings and landmarks the D.A. Gillies Building clock tower will be illuminated in a royal purple hue on Thursday June 2, 2022. Illuminations will start at dusk.

The Arnprior and District Museum will be commemorating this milestone by showing their collection of memorabilia related to Queen Elizabeth, her coronation and visits to Canada. 

Her Majesty The Queen is the first Monarch in British history to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. The Town of Arnprior sends Her Majesty every good wish on this, her Platinum Jubilee.
