Public Notice: Procedure By-Law Updates

Take Notice That the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Arnprior will be reviewing the Council Procedure By-law at its meeting on February 13, 2023 beginning at 6:30 PM. The intention of the review is to repeal and replace By-Law Number 6922-19, as amended, being “A By-Law to Govern the Proceedings of Council and its Committees”.

The purpose of the proposed review of the Procedure By-Law is to ensure that it best supports the good governance of the municipality and aligns with provincial legislation.

A copy of the Staff Report with recommendations in regards to this review will be included in the February 13^th, 2023 Council agenda, and will be published on the Town website on February 9th, 2023.

Take Further Notice That the proposed Council Procedure By-law will be considered by Council at its meeting to be held on Monday, February 27^th at 6:30 PM.   Written comments about the proposed by-law will be received at the Town of Arnprior (105 Elgin Street West, Arnprior, ON K7S 0A8) or by email at mspratt@arnprior.ca.
