Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the part-time Facility Attendant will support and assist full-time facility operators and custodial staff to keep municipal buildings and equipment maintained, clean, secure, ready and respectable for public use.
The primary responsibilities for this position include (but not limited to) the following:
Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the facility, including but not exclusive to arenas, spectator seating, pool deck, arena and pool change rooms, washrooms, community hall, kitchen, bar, corridors and lobbies, boardrooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, staff offices, storage areas, workshops and staff areas.
Assist full-time custodial staff to keep Municipal buildings clean, secure, ready and respectable for public use.
The successful candidate will have as a minimum the following qualifications:
Some completion of high school and/or equivalent. Preference may be given to applicants who have completed high school or equivalent.
Asset Qualifications:
First Aid and CPR-AED Certification preferred.
Valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s license.
Previous occupational health and safety knowledge.
High Five Certification
Ontario Recreation Facilities Association (ORFA) certification
