The leaves are changing and so are our programs. We’re diving right in to the seasonal classics with aquatics programs set to start and spooky events around the corner.

Youth Club

A whole new season of Youth Club started in September. You can join now and start registering for programs next week. Visit www.arnprior.ca/youthclub to view the many amazing programs and events set to take place this fall including Afterschool Programs, Youth Nights, and events!

New Adult Programming

At the youth craft nights, we serve juice boxes. At Crafts & Craft, we serve cold beer. This new program is sponsored by Cold Bear Brewing Co. and runs monthly on Friday nights at the Nick Smith Centre. Build a seasonal craft with friends in this adult only program.

Looking for a throwback dance party? Look no further than Night of Nostalgia on November 8 at the Nick Smith Centre hosted by DJ Wes. This 80s, 90s, Early 00’s event features a glow bar, décor, great tunes with the bar open. Please enjoy responsibly. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Nick Smith Centre or at Arnprior.ca/nostalgia

Aquatics Updates and Reminders

Is your child 13 years old or older and interested in becoming a lifeguard? It’s not too late to register! We are offering a Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross course starting Sunday, October 6, at 5:00 PM. Register online today!

Have you been eager to join our FREE Aqua Frolic Program but always found it full? Great news! The program is now drop-in. No registration needed—simply come to the pool deck on Fridays at 11:00 AM and enjoy the fun with an instructor and fellow seniors (60+).

Please remember that Monday, October 14, is a holiday. Check our website for the updated holiday pool schedule. Times will vary. Our webpage, Arnprior.ca/swimming, has been updated to this season’s pool schedule.

Please remember that Friday, October 11, is a PA Day. Check our website for the updated PA Day pool and skate schedules. Times will vary and more public and lane swims will be offered.

Parks Update

Construction is well underway for Arnprior’s newest and most exciting park space, Fairview Park. View the progress and project plans online now.

Monday October 14 will be the last operational day for the bathrooms at Robert Simpson Park and McLean Ball Diamonds, as well as the last operational day for the Marina.

Staff are watching the long range weather forecast and will make a call on the operations of the Splash Pad when weather turns too cold. Stay tuned to Arnprior Life for information on all park updates.
