Take Notice on February 28th, 2022 the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Arnprior refused an application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990 in respect of Zoning By-law Amendment File No. ZBA-4/21.
Purpose and Effect The applicant has applied to amend Zoning By-law Number 6875- 18 to redesignate the lands fronting on Thomas Street from Future Development (FD) to Residential Four (Exception 43)(Holding 15) [R4*43(H15)] to allow for the development of apartment buildings with exceptions.
Any and all written and oral submissions relating to this application that were made to Council and the Planning Department before its decision and any and all oral submissions related to this application that were made at a public meeting held under the Planning Act have been taken into consideration by Council as part of its deliberations and final decision regarding these matters.

Take Notice That the Applicant or the Minister of Municipal Affairs may appeal the refusal of the proposed Amendment to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) in respect to all or any part of the requested Amendment, by filing a Notice of Appeal with the Clerk of the Town of Arnprior no later than March 22st, 2022.

No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the requested Zoning By-law amendment was refused, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Council c/o the Planning Department or, in the opinion of the Ontario Land Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
The decision of Council of the Town of Arnprior is final if a Notice of Appeal is not received on or before the last day for filing a notice of appeal.
