Application for Consent and Minor Variance
In The Matter of Section 53, Chapter P.13 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990; In The Matter of an application for consent, and;
In The Matter of Section 45 of the Planning Act, 1990; and
In The Matter of an application for minor variance respect to the following: Location of Property: 252 Harrington Street, Arnprior, ON
The purpose of the application is to sever a parcel of land 8.86 metres (29 ft) x 45.72 metres (150 ft) and to retain a parcel of land 14 metres (46 ft) x 45.72 metres (150 ft). The retain lot is currently occupied by a single detached dwelling and a shed which will be removed.

The effect of the proposed severance is to create a separate residential parcel of 471 square metres and retain a residential parcel of 573 square metres.

Take notice that the consent and minor variance application will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment for the Town of Arnprior on Thursday, March 23rd, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. (zoom meeting).
A key plan is attached. Application B4/22 and Application A3/22, as well as additional related information are available for inspection during regular office hours. Please contact the Planning Department prior to attending the Town Hall to set up an appointment.
Please note this will be an electronic public hearing where there will be no physical in- person attendance due to COVID-19. There will be opportunities provided to provide input electronically. You are strongly encouraged to submit any comments, concerns or support of the application in writing, prior to the Public Hearing, so they can be considered by the Committee prior to a decision being made on the application.
Comments should be submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer via emailed to planning@arnprior.ca and shall be provided to members of the Committee in advance of the meeting, if possible. The Secretary to the Committee will verbally read out the written deputation during the meeting at the time each application is considered. Should you wish to participate in the Electronic Meeting, please contact planning@arnprior.ca and instructions will be provided to join the meeting a few days in advance.
If you wish to make written comments on this application, they may be forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment at the address below. If you do not attend the hearing, it may proceed in your absence. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment.
If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed consent does not make a written submission to the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
