Application for Minor Variance 

In The Matter of Section 45, of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990; and

In The Matter of an application for minor variance, with respect to the following: Location of Property:   245 Daniel St S, Arnprior ON

Purpose and Effect of Consent Application:

Permission is requested for variance from the following Zoning By-law Amendment provisions:

1. That Section 5.8 Minimum Number of Egress Spaces required for a drive through facility for commercial use be reduced from the required 3 spaces to 1 space;
2. That Section 5.8.5 Location of Drive Through Components required restriction to stacking lanes being within the 3.0 metre minimum required interior side yard be reduced to 0.0 metre;
3. That Section 7.6 Minimum Front Yard Setback in a Mixed Use-Commercial/ Employment Zone be reduced from 6.0m to 3.0m. 

Official Plan: Mixed Use Commercial/Employment Area Zoning:         Mixed Use-Commercial/Employment (MU-CE) 

Take notice that the minor variance application will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment for the Town of Arnprior on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. (zoom meeting). 

A key plan is attached. Application A1/22, as well as additional related information are available for inspection during regular office hours. Please contact the Planning Department prior to attending the Town Hall to set up an appointment. 

Please note this will be an electronic public hearing where there will be no physical in- person attendance due to COVID-19. There will be opportunities provided to provide input electronically. You are strongly encouraged to submit any comments, concerns or support of the application in writing, prior to the Public Hearing, so they can be considered by the Committee prior to a decision being made on the application.

Comments should be submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer via emailed to planning@arnprior.ca and shall be provided to members of the Committee in advance of the meeting, if possible. The Secretary to the Committee will verbally read out the written deputation during the meeting at the time each application is considered. Should you wish to participate in the Electronic Meeting, please contact planning@arnprior.ca and instructions will be provided to join the meeting a few days in advance. 

If you wish to make written comments on this application, they may be forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment at the address below. If you do not attend the hearing, it may proceed in your absence. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed consent, you must make a written request to the Town of Arnprior Committee of Adjustment.
