Council received an overview of programming happening this summer in Arnprior. Council held a public meeting to receive public input for Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments to reflect amendments to the Planning Act legislation. Changes include Additional Residential Unit (ADU) requirements; parkland conveyance changes; and changes to appeal rights. Amendments are also proposed to address private road policies. A staff report will be presented to Council shortly for their consideration on these matters.
Council received a staff report and adopted a By-law to allow for the temporary industrial use (3 years with possible extensions) at 10 William Street.
Council considered the award of the MacDonald Street Reconstruction Project; however, the decision and enacting by-law were deferred to a Special Meeting of Council to be held on Thursday May 16th, 2024 at 6:00 PM in Council Chambers, Town Hall (105 Elgin Street West, Arnprior, ON K7S 0A8).
