Condolences from Mayor McGee on Passing of James McBain, Municipal Law Enforcement Services (MLES)

Jim's family has announced that there will be two (2) public visitations and a graveside funeral at Rosebank Cemetery to celebrate his life and his contributions. More information can be found on his obituary through Zohr Funeral Home. 

On behalf of Council, staff and the residents of Arnprior, on the passing of James (Jim) McBain, owner and operator of Municipal Law Enforcement Services (MLES),  I want to express sincere condolences to Jim’s wife and partner, Darla, his family, friends and staff of MLES.

Jim provided by-law enforcement services to the Town of Arnprior for over 20 years and we were grateful for his compassionate and professional dedication to this often difficult job. Jim will be deeply missed.

Flags at the Town Hall will be lowered in recognition of his service.
