Committee Member Vacancy – 2022-2026 Committee of Adjustment / Property Standards Committee

Following the resignation of a committee member, the Town of Arnprior is seeking interested persons to sit on the Committee of Adjustment and Property Standards Committee for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council (or until their successors are appointed).

The Committee of Adjustment meets as needed to hold public hearings and consider applications for minor variances, consents and legal non-conforming uses. The Planning Act governs the Committee's responsibilities and conduct.

The Property Standards Committee meets as needed and it acts as the final appeals body for property owner(s) / occupant(s) who are not satisfied with the terms or conditions of orders made under the Town’s Property Standards By-Law.

Expressions of interest are due by Friday, March 1st, 2024 at 4:30 PM either in-person or by mail to the Town of Arnprior (105 Elgin Street W, Arnprior, ON K7S 0A8), by email at clerks@arnprior.ca or through the webform on the Town’s website at www.arnprior.ca/coa.
