The Town of Arnprior is fortunate to have a beautiful Museum which preserves the history of our community.
The Museum collects, preserves and exhibits artifacts, archaeological specimens, textiles, documents and photographs which reflect the history of Arnprior and the surrounding area. The Arnprior and District Museum Board assists in the management of the Arnprior and District Museum, by providing recommendations to Council on delivering museum programming and exhibits to the community, along with preservation of Arnprior and area history. Meetings of the Arnprior and District Museum Board are held one (1) time per month, for at least ten (10) months of the year. Council appoints nine (9) members to the Arnprior and District Museum Board for a four-year term, with composition being one (1) Member of Council and eight (8) community members.
