The World Juniors are coming to Arnprior! Ottawa is hosting the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championships with various host communities welcoming competing nations. Arnprior has been selected to host Team Latvia with their training camp taking place at the Nick Smith Centre. Latvia will play Team Switzerland on December 23rd at 7:00pm at the Nick Smith Centre as part of their camp.
The Nick Smith Centre will also see an exhibition game between Team Kazakhstan and Team Germany on December 19 at 7:00pm.
Latvia will train at the Nick Smith Centre during the day.
All practices will be open to the public. Visitors must remain in the assigned area of the arena and enter through the main entrance of the building.
All Latvia practices are on Glenn Arthur Arena (Arena B).

Sunday, December 22 | 3:30-5:30pm
The Town will work with local schools and Minor Hockey to help make our guests feel at home at the Nick Smith Centre.
All tickets are general admission and $30 plus applicable fees. Tickets are non-refundable.
All tickets are digital and will be scanned upon entry on game day. There will be no physical tickets and no Will Call. Tickets are purchased through a third party, Eventbrite.

Bag Policy |
Bags are restricted to clutch or wallet style bags smaller than 4″x6″x1.5″ which will be subject to contactless security screening.
Bags, backpacks, purses, totes, clear bags, fanny packs and camera bags are not permitted. Exceptions will be made for guests who require a bag for medical devices and childcare/diaper bags. |

Building staff reserves the right in their absolute discretion to deny access for any item(s) deemed a safety concern or may result in an undesirable impact on the guest experience.
Illegal items will be turned over to the OPP. If a guest is found in the facility with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated, and, in some cases, the fan may be evicted from the building. |

The Nick Smith Centre is a smoke-free facility both inside and outside. This includes the parking lot. *Please note there are no in and out privileges at this event. |
