The Town of Arnprior is very excited to offer a full slate of events in the summer of 2023. As always, our summer events calendar kicks off with Priorpalooza on June 3, followed by a 10-week Concerts in the Park series beginning June 11 and Sunday Market beginning June 4th. A new event, PaddleFest, debuts on June 17 at McLean Park.
Our annual Canada Day festivities will take place all across town on July 1 and our annual Dragon Boat Festival is set to return on July 15. We finish our summer...

Product Recall Due to Fire Hazard
The Arnprior Fire Department would like to advise the public of this recall due. This refers to a product recall involving the lithium-ion battery supplied with the Sunter Rechargeable LED Vanity Mirror manufactured in March and April of 2022. The lithium-ion battery supplied with the unit may overheat, posing a fire hazard. The play structure and features at Fourth Avenue Park were removed on April 6 as the play structure had surpassed its lifecycle. While the park has been a welcome place for outdoor recreation over the years, also featuring swings sets and some years an outdoor rink, this location is not Town of Arnprior property and therefore the amenities at this park will not be replaced. The Town intends to relocate the existing swing sets to another park.

Garbage collection that was missed today due to the weather will be collected tomorrow, Thursday, April 6th. A reminder for section 4 to place your recycling at the curb as your collection has been moved from Friday to Thursday due to the holiday.
