    Arnprior Blood Donor Clinic
    Wednesday January 10th
    Nick Smith Centre
    77 James Street

    1 pm to 4 pm & 5 pm to 7:30 pm

We are looking for 92 more donors to book appointments to Give Life at this community Blood Donor Clinic.  Encouraging eligible Canadians to make a lifesaving donation will help maintain our blood inventory level following the Holidays.

    • Every donation is important and we ask eligible donors to book their appointments as soon as they can and, even more importantly, to keep them.
    • Book an appointment to Give Life now by downloading the GiveBlood app, calling 1 888 2 DONATE, or visiting blood.ca.
    • The demand for blood never stops; cancer patients, accident victims, and people with blood disorders rely on blood transfusions every day.
    • We are reminding Canadians to donate blood in January to help ensure the national blood supply meets demand and supports patients’ needs going into the New Year.
    • While all blood types are needed and all donors are encouraged to get involved, there is a specific need for donors with O-negative blood type.
    • We have just over a 3-day supply of O-negative blood, but we need to have between a five and eight-day supply of blood and blood products to meet anticipated hospital demand.
