Engineering Officer, Facilities and Civil

Reports to: Director of Public Works
Salary: $58,180 to $68,447 (Grade 9);
Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Engineering Officer, Facilities & Civil is a member of the Engineering Branch of the Public Works Department. This position provides an important role in supporting multiple capital works projects, coordinating building maintenance and repairs, assisting with budget development, providing engineering reviews for capital works projects and plans, conducting inspections, and other various technical duties. The Engineering Officer, Facilities & Civil provides direct interaction, support interpretation, problem resolution and coordination on a range of day-to-day Public Works issues.

There a number of positions available over the summer months (May to September) for students in various departments/interests including public works, parks, recreation services (Camp Wanago), Town’s Clerk Office, Museum and Library summer activity programs.
