Crossing Guard Rover

Job Type: Casual/Seasonal
Reports to: Town Clerk
Hourly Wage: $11.98 to $14.09 (Grade 1)
The Town of Arnprior is currently inviting applications for reliable individuals to fill the position of Crossing Guard Rover. Reporting to the Town Clerk, Crossing Guard Rovers’ hours of work shall be on an on-call basis to provide coverage as needed. Crossing Guards must be available throughout the school year and to work split shift during daytime hours. The positions will cover school crossings at specified locations in the Town of Arnprior.

Summer Students

Please check back in January for 2016 positions.

Every year the Town hires a number of students to work on various assignments over the summer months (May to September). Areas where students are generally hired include parks maintenance, recreation services including Camp Wanago, Public Works, Town Clerk’s Office, financial services, Library and Museum summer activity programs.

Coop Student Placements

The Town welcomes student coop placements generally within public works, finance, corporate and administrative services, and museum operations. Please contact the Human Resources Officer at (613) 623-4231, ext. 1821 for further information.
