Firefighter Recruitment 

The Town of Arnprior is currently seeking individuals interested in serving as a Volunteer Firefighter in their community. If you are interested to learn more about the department, job requirements and commitments please register to attend one of the Orientation Sessions that will be conducted at the Town of Arnprior Fire Station located at 67 Meehan St. on:

  • Monday November 17th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.;
  • Tuesday November 18th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; or
  • Saturday November 22nd from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Please note that attendance to one of the Orientation Sessions is a prerequisite to apply to become a Volunteer Firefighter.

Summer Students

Please check back in January for 2015 positions.

Every year the Town hires a number of students to work on various assignments over the summer months (May to September). Areas where students are generally hired include parks maintenance, recreation services including Camp Wanago, Public Works, Town Clerk’s Office, financial services, Library and Museum summer activity programs.

 

Coop Student Placements
