Your feedback is appreciated in helping build this vital Master Plan that will help shape the Town of Arnprior’s waterfront. The community engagement platform will be active from March 9- April 5, 2021.
The waterfront is one of Arnprior’s greatest assets. It supports a wide variety of social, recreation and cultural activities for both residents and visitors alike. The goal of the Waterfront Master Plan is to create a guiding document that will explore how to enhance the social, economical, and environmental aspects of the waterfront. This study will develop a roadmap for making improvements to Arnprior’s waterfront over the next several decades.
The Town of Arnprior has retained the services of Thinc Design to complete a Waterfront Master Plan, building on the Waterfront Feasibility Issues and Options Analysis undertaken in 2017. This detailed Master Plan will provide a blueprint for implementing the community’s vision for the waterfront area.
The Town of Arnprior’s Waterfront Master Plan has reached the next stage for community engagement.
The public first viewed a series of waterfront concepts from Thinc Design during an open house period in March 2020. While COVID-19 delated the subsequent phase of the project, feedback from the public, key stakeholders, town staff and council have been considered in the next juncture of the project’s development and we are returning to the community for your input.
Due to COVID-19, we will not be holding an in-person open house, rather acquire your feedback through an online platform.
For those unable to access the materials online, they can request a copy of the draft concepts and survey through the Nick Smith Centre or Town Hall.
