Sidewalk Priority Winter Maintenance Routes

The Town of Arnprior provides priority sidewalk winter maintenance on specific roadways within the municipality. Currently, the Town has designated approximately 20 kilometres of sidewalks as priority sidewalks, which are typically plowed into the road after a storm by Town sidewalk plows and picked up within the following two to three nights. The Town also has approximately 22 kilometres of roads with non-priority sidewalks which are cleared with the wing of the road plow until such time as the snow can no longer be pushed back. Snow banks are then removed subject to operational resource availability.
