Town Staff and members of the Arnprior Fire Department were able to begin rink flooding at the Sullivan Rink of Dreams and at Sergeant Howard Slater Park in Village Creek. Snow has not been removed from these surfaces as ice conditions are still not yet favourable and safe for skating. Both rinks remain closed at this time.

NEW: Our recycling contractor has advised that last Friday’s Section 4 plastics, glass and metal recycling collection is currently underway and should be collected today (Thursday, December 29th, 2022).

Due to the winter storm, the Town’s contractor has advised that they are not able to safely complete the Section 4 recycling collection. Therefore, today's Section 4 (Friday) recycling collection has been cancelled and rescheduled to Monday, December 19th, 2022. Affected residents should bring in their recycling bins today and instead place their Paper Fibres and Cardboard materials curbside by 7:30 AM on Monday. Recycling collection for all other sections next week will remain as scheduled.
