Service Disruption - Robert Simpson Park Lower Level Parking

The Canadian Coast Guard will be completing work on the Arnprior Island Lighthouse replacement project on Tuesday, October 17th.

Lower-Level Parking Area at Robert Simpson Park will serve as a work site for this project which will involve heavy equipment and the use of a helicopter.

As such public access will be restricted in this area – this will include the parking area, beach and waterfront trail. This area will be closed from 11:00am – 5:00pm.

Daniel Street Crossing

The sidewalks along Daniel and Edey Streets are in place and open to pedestrians however, the traffic lights will not be functional until mid-September. We ask that pedestrians please use the signalized intersection at Daniel and Arthur Street at this time when crossing Daniel Street.

The Splash Pad and Play Structure at Robert Simpson Park will be closed Wednesday, July 19, from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm for tree maintenance in the area. The Beach and Gazebo will not be impacted and will remain open.
