As Circular Materials Ontario (CMO)’s provider for recycling collection, TOPPS Environmental Solutions has advised that there has been a delay in the collection of plastic, glass and metal materials in the Section One (Monday) zone as they were not able to complete collection yesterday. As a result, they would ask that residents in Section One leave their recycling materials curbside for collection today and they are working to collect materials as soon as possible.

At the August 26th, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council, Council authorized the temporary removal of the Malloch Road Cemetery statue for offsite repairs. The statue will be carefully removed by statue professionals within the next few weeks and it will be sent away for offsite repairs over the winter months. It is anticipated that the statue will be relocated onto a new base once repairs have been completed in Spring 2025.
