The first project of the Town’s Waterfront Master Plan is underway with the revitalization of the waterfront trail (Gillies Trail) from Madawaska Street to Robert Simpson Park. Over the course of the next six weeks, temporary trail closures will be in place as work is being completed. ARNPRIOR, ON – The beach at Robert Simpson Park received a major accessibility upgrade this week with the installation of an AccessMat and the addition of a WaterWheels chair. The Town of Arnprior, in partnership with Stantec Consulting Ltd, has embarked on an exciting endeavour to create a strategic Recreation and Parks Master Plan that will guide the future of recreational services and infrastructure offered by the Town.
