The Town of Arnprior has embraced Recreation and Parks Month by creating a new campaign that will provide barrier free activities throughout the month of June. This campaign is called ‘Recreation Passport’ and is made possible by the Community Better Challenge, run by ParticipACTION.

The Town of Arnprior will celebrate its 160th birthday with the return of the annual music festival – Priorpalooza, presented by Ontario Power Generation – on Saturday, June 4.
“Everyone is excited for the return of summer events. We are thrilled to be back to a full calendar this year” said Director of Recreation Graeme Ivory. “Priorpalooza is the official kick-off to summer in Arnprior. We’ll also be celebrating 160 years of this wonderful community.”

Routine tree maintenance to be performed this spring at local nature reserve
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) will be starting essential tree maintenance and removal at its Gillies Grove Nature Reserve beginning February 20, 2022.
