In conjunction with the Test Your Smoke Alarm Day Open House at the Stanley Tourangeau Fire/Police Services Centre, the Arnprior Fire Department will sound off the Town’s former Air Raid Siren on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 12:00 PM (noon).
Once resting at the original Town Hall / Fire Hall, the siren was used to notify the volunteer fire department of a fire in the community as at the time, it could be heard in all wards of the Town.
