Clocks will spring forward one hour at 2am on March 10 and the Arnprior Fire Department is recommending residents install new batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when they change their clocks.

Please be advised that the Town has lowered the flags at all Municipal Facilities today in honor of the late Right Honourable Brian Mulroney who served as Prime Minister of Canada from 1984 to 1993. As per the Town’s policy, the flags will be flown at half-mast until sunset on the date of the memorial (date to be determined).

I am truly saddened at the news of the untimely passing of my friend and community champion, Glenn Arthur, former Director of Recreation for the Town of Arnprior.
