Park Program is a new program for youth throughout the summer months in Arnprior. We invite youth to participate in free programming, both structured and unstructured. Supervision and equipment will be provided by program staff. The program runs three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. The location of the program varies per week to utilize the benefits of the parks in our community. Registration is required to participate. We hope that you come out to join us!

What is Free Play? |
Free Play is when kids are invited to use the equipment brought by staff to play as they wish. Our equipment includes; balls, skipping ropes, chalk, bubbles, frisbees and more. Staff will also help to organize and monitor these games or activities to ensure they run smoothly. |
Why do I need to register for this program? |
When you register the form will ask you a number of questions pertaining to information that is useful for program staff to ensure safety during programs. This includes information involving drop off and pick up arrangements, emergency contacts, allergies and more. These questions allow staff to respond appropriately to different situations if they are to occur. |
Why do I need to register for this program? |
This program centers around physical movement outdoors. Children should bring water, sunscreen, hats and appropriate footwear. Please note that some of our locations do not have water stations, so please pack accordingly. |
When will the program be canceled? How will I know? |
The program will be canceled if the weather is not favorable towards the program. This may include; extreme heat, poor air quality or a storm is forecasted. This call will be made by 9:00 am the morning of the program. If the program is canceled it will be emailed to the contact on file. |
