Welcome to PaddleFest! We were originally scheduled for June 22 but have changed to a rain date of July 6 at McLean Beach in Arnprior from 11:00am-3:00pm.
What is PaddleFest? This event is done in joint with Ottawa Valley Air Paddle to provide free and accessible programming on the water in Arnprior. Throughout the day, there will be free guided paddles on the Ottawa River from McLean Beach while also enjoying live music, family games, and see local vendors. Learn about water safety and the history of travel on the two rivers in Arnprior.
What can I do at PaddleFest? |
Paddle. There will be guided paddles throughout the day that you can drop in to, thanks to Ottawa Valley Air Paddle. Try your hand at a Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) or one of their foldable kayaks.
Listen. Catch some live music at McLean Park from 11:00-12:30pm and 1:00-2:30pm with performances from Spare Change
Eat. Indulge in some local food vendors and try a few sweets.
Play. There is sure to be lots of action at PaddleFest for those of all ages. We will have many family games and activities to have fun in. Join in on yoga too!
Learn. Become familiar with water safety and boating safety. |
Who can come to PaddleFest? |
Everyone can come to PaddleFest! This event is great for visitors and residents alike. There is something to do for all ages and this event is made as accessible as possible. |
Where is PaddleFest happening? |
This event takes place at McLean Park, 178 McLean Avenue, with programming on the beachfront and greenspace within.
Parking can be found in one of the three lots of our ball diamonds located on McNab Street or McLean Avenue. Only those with accessible permits may park directly beside the park. |
